SPANDY 500TP

The SPANDY 500TP spraying tanker with manual lance mounted on the TP500D tracked transporter was designed to solve the problems associated with transporting and spraying bitumen emulsion where compact equipment is needed, with a capacity of 500 litres of emulsion and therefore good autonomy, and to work where there may be slopes such that the use of a classic hand-drawn sprayer can be difficult.

The SPANDY 500P spraying tank can be easily detached from the TP500D crawler transporter, which can also be equipped with accessories such as tipper bodies, skips with loader, mini excavators, sweepers and others.

• 3-cylinder water-cooled diesel engine. Electric starter.
• Hydrostatic transmission with piston pumps.
• Hydraulic motors with planetary reduction gears.

• Joystick or 2 levers for direction and speed control with servo control.

• Cylindrical emulsion containment tank comprising the following:
  – upper steel hatch for emulsion loading, with splash protection,
  – heating chamber positioned below the tank with insulated walls;
  – 2″ side cap for emptying,
  – tank with frame for quick coupling to TP500D conveyor;
  – lifting hooks;
  – Emulsion capacity 500 litres.
• Anti-burn protection nets on tank boiler.
• Hydraulic drive for emulsion pump engagement.
• Pump engagement control via hydraulic distributor located near the driving controls of the TP500D conveyor.
• Gear-driven emulsion pump with 50 l/min flow rate, self-priming with pressure control by-pass valve.
• Gas belt burner consisting of:
  – piezo ignition;
  – temperature control and regulation via thermostat with automatic pilot start;
  – visual temperature control via thermometer;
  – maximum temperature set at 80°C;
  – gas flow blocking system in the event of accidental burner shutdown.
• Manual spray lance with 1 nozzle and spray shut-off valve.
• Manual lance hose reel with 10 metres of hose.
• Manual emulsion recirculation.
• External outlet for system cleaning and refilling or loading from drum.
• Detergent holding tank for spraying lance cleaning with detergent collection and recovery system without spilling outside.
